I have essentially documented my life in these books - from a vision chart at the beginning of the year to the weekly check-ins and introspective journal questions, I've been so much more focused in my professional life over the past few years.

One of my major goals last year was to get into a graduate school engineering program after working in tech for 4 years after undergrad. I was incredibly intimidated by this - taking the GRE, taking a few graduate courses at Stanford to get a taste of the field, writing research papers, writing numerous essays all while working a full-time job which involved taking numerous trips to Asia each year to launch a product?

Ink & Volt saved the day. By using this planner as an outlet to write whenever I got stressed, I was able to compose myself and avoid getting overwhelmed too quickly. I was able to do ALL of the things above and am now choosing between multiple graduate programs! Each time I made a baby step towards the future, I documented it; looking back at my planners from 2017 and 2018 make me smile as I re-live some of those moments. I love the weekly journaling exercises too--I made a commitment to myself to ensure that I do those exercises each week, for me, and I see that I am more focused than I ever have been. I love the daily layout too. The layout allows for timeblocking and appointment tracking for the day to day. What I wanted to share with you is what I've accomplished in 2018 while using this planner:

-My husband and I started and run an up and coming Residential Redevelopment Company, Marigold Capital Group, LLC. I buy and sell homes. Sometimes I flip them. Other times, I hold them as rentals. And sometimes I help Sellers find Buyers and vise versa.
-I invented a "Multipurpose Portable Shaker" to be used in both the cosmetic world and medical/pharmaceutical industries. I have had artwork drawn up and a virtual presentation created and submitted to many prospective companies in effort to secure a licensing agreement. We are also are so happy to be "Patent Pending!"
-I organized a fundraiser for a local nonprofit organization, Wings4Vets, a group of Vietnam Veteran pilots who donate their time and aircraft to transport disabled Veterans and their caregivers to and from medical treatments at no charge. Our goal was $10,000. We raised $14,526. (I used the Hatch Notebook for this as well.)
-I have tracked financials, budgeted, and paid personal and company bills. We went from having over $140,000 in debt to $20,000. Amazing! Like I said, 2017 could have been better...but nevertheless, I am thankful for the lessons and the journey.
-I had made a goal to fund and attend a Real Estate Investor Conference in Las Vegas for December of 2018--we are going!

I also have two children in preschool. This planner helps me keep up with their activities, snack days, events, parental commitments, and anything else they need.

The Ink+Volt planner has really improved my efficiency. I am more intentional every night to plan my week and day ahead and every morning to review what needs to be done. You guys have a great product!

I am on my second Ink+Volt planner and absolutely love it. I also love to sketch with fountain pens and the paper in your planner is perfect for fountain ink. The paper is so silky and smooth that the ink flows beautifully. The paper is so durable that ink does not bleed through so one can sketch on both sides. It is a joy to sketch on your paper.

I love using the planner. The weekly format is a great way to get me to stop and think and make sure I am on track. Looking back at the week helps me eliminate things that waste time. I love the inspirational quotes. This year is definitely headed in the right direction.

I've had a super productive year and I think my planner has a lot to do with it. It helped me think beyond the given week and encouraged me to push myself to make big goals for myself every month. I retired from my corporate life about 3 years ago and turned my photography hobby into my new life goal. For 2 years I stumbled around the maze trying to find my "way." Last January I decided to try ink+volt to help me get organized and carve a path. My BEHAG was to have a solo show of my photography in a respected gallery. I used ink+volt religiously, filing in every day, week and month with goals and doing my best to achieve them in the timeframe I set. When I "failed" the system helped me reset and move on. There were many little steps cooked into the process including visiting local galleries to establish relationships with the owners. Today one of those gallery owners invited me to exhibit my photography art in her gallery. BEHAG ACHIEVED!!!! Using ink+volt helped me stay on track and get back on it when I fell off.
